We will work on location every day, weather permitting. There will also be time for lecture information and demonstrations. We will focus on several key points throughout the week: understanding and simplifying shapes while balancing warm and cool colors, laying down a foundation quickly while creating focal points and developing the overall painting. Creating atmospheric perspective and composition development will also be addressed and there will be plenty of individual attention. Daily demonstrations are provided on how to see shape and light values to paint all your subjects. In the evenings the group will meet for critiques – to share information and view each others accomplishments. Maximum enrollment is 15.
