Woodlands

This photo does not do this painting justice so I will repost again later. This is painted with a muddy palette. It made for a real challenge. Hard to simplify a busy woodland scene. Looked forward to the challenge. I have been working so small this larger size is a real pleasure and being on canvas it is like returning home.

11.Hillside Farm

Sold
I am enjoying experimenting with my knife. Always good to play outside the sandbox and the lines. The layering of colours and textures adds another component to the process of painting and of the final outcome.
